Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns, mostly as a result of human activities. These activities include burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas which generates the emission of greenhouse gases. The greenhouse gas emissions act as a blanket wrapped around the earth, trapping the sun's heat and raising temperatures. Carbon dioxide and methane are examples of greenhouse emissions generated from burning coal and usage of gasoline dependant cars.
