General health screening are carried out for people in the communities we visit. Those who are diagnosed of certain health conditions are given medication, consultations and prescription to help manage or cure them. Obri Komfo also educates the elderly on the importance of maintaining a healthy environment, as poor environmental habits cause some of these illnesses; such as bronchitis, cancer, blindness, and other respiratory diseases.
Obri Komfo Freedom Empowerment Organization is a Ghanaian multicultural non-profit organization that seeks to improve environmental health and sustainability by developing and organizing community clean-up exercises, workshops on proper waste disposal and recycling, engaging in tree-planting activities, and encouraging youth involvement in agriculture, across Ghana in a bid to combat the daring effects of climate change.
